*Smedley Toastmasters Club* presents *SMEDLEY SPEECHCRAFT*
A 14 sessions workshop in Doha, Qatar, over a period of 6 months designed to increase your Public Speaking skills. Participants will get hands on experiential learning under the guidance of experts.
When ?
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from Jan 2020 to July 2020

Sharq Capital, C-Ring Rd, Doha, Qatar
What is taught?
We teach you to be a confident speaker who can speak effectively in English in public, whether it is in your office or at an interview or a customer meeting or even just at gatherings or special occasions with friends and family. We also help you develop excellent leadership skills by giving you the opportunity to take on different roles that require planning, time management and excellent team work.
We follow the Pathways program from Toastmasters International that includes working on communication, leadership and management skills, depending on your interest.
Toastmasters International is a non profit organization in USA that helps individuals develop communication and leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Session 1: Importance of Public Speaking and Introduction to Pathways - Toastmasters Educational Curriculum
Session 2: Pathways Project 1 - Icebreaker Module - Break the ice by speaking about yourself
Session 3: Learn to speak confidently on the spot (Table Topics)
Session 4: Selecting speech topics for presentation
Session 5:Pathways Project 2 Part 1 - Understand the General and Specific purpose of speeches
Session 6: Organizing speech content and smooth transitions
Session 7: Pathways Project 2 Part 2 - Giving excellent feedback and evaluation to others
Session 8: Using body language and gestures effectively
Session 9: Using voice & vocabulary to enhance speaking skills
Session 10: Pathways Project 3 - Researching & presenting to audience
Session 11: Using words appropriately for presentation
Session 12: Using MS Power Point presentations and other visual aids
Session 13: Persuasion techniques to persuade your audience
Session 14: Using humor effectively in your speeches
SpeechCraft Fee: QR 700 for 7 months
(Includes membership in Toastmasters Pathways program)
By completing three projects from Pathways curriculum, you will also receive Level 1 Certificate from Toastmasters International, a non profit US organization, at the end of the speechcraft program.
